Blaven is situated on the edge of the town of Oban, the centre is about a 15 minute walk away. It's elevated position ensures outstanding views from just about every window in the house. Oban is the Gateway to the Isles and ferry services to many Scottish Islands are a five minute drive from the house. As well as being an idylic family holiday home Blaven also provides the ideal base for bird watchers, fishermen, photographers, visiting the Gardens of Argyll and Munro Bagging!

There is also a sea plane service which runs from Glasgow into Oban Bay and you will see the house as you fly in! Details can be found at www.lochlomondseaplanes.com

First Floor:-
Master Bedroom with 6ft king size bed which may be made into twin beds if required. The bathroom is located next door and there is a door from the hallway leading to both the bedroom and bathroom so this can be closed to make in effect en-suite facilities. This bathroom has a large double ended bath, large shower, wash hand basin,  w.c and underfloor heating.
Double bedroom with 5ft bed which can be made into twin beds.
Twin Bedroom which can be made into a 6ft Double Bed.
Single Bedroom.
House Bathroom with Bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and w.c.
The next twin bedroom has 2 doors, the second leading through to the back hallway which leads to the final double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and shower room with shower, wash hand basin and w.c. There is also a second staircase which leads down to the back door, ideal for accessing the bedrooms on that  side of the house.
Outside:-
Enclosed garden. Please note the front garden has a very steep slope. There is a patio area with table and chairs and BBQ.
There is ample parking for at least 5 cars.

To reserve the property your can call us on 01845 597614. We are open from 9am - 8.30pm weekdays and 9 - 5pm at weekends. Alternatively please fill out the form below and we will contact you. You may also reserve weekly booking online (please call to reserve weekend breaks).

Weekly bookings are from Friday to Friday. Weekend bookings are from 4pm Friday until 10am Sunday. Mid week bookings are from 4pm Monday until 10am Friday.

Please make sure you have read our Booking Terms & Conditions We recommend that you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance.

Weekends are from Friday at 4pm until Monday 10am
Mid Week Breaks are from Monday 4pm until Friday 10am at 70% of the weekly total.
